Hertfordshire Opera conclude year 2023 with a modern take on Mozart’s comic one act opera "The Impresario" which will be sung in English. This high spirited opera depicts two fierce sopranos battling it out to perform the principal role in the Impresario’s latest production.

At the request of Emperor Joseph II Mozart composed this comic one act opera for a private performance at the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. Come and discover Mozart’s sense of humour and honesty with the help of an amazing cast: Bernice Clark, (Soprano - in the role of Glodentrill), Keren Hadas (Soprano in the role of Silverpearl), Felix Boege (Baritone - in the role of Bluff), Tomos Jones (Tenor- in the role of Angel) and Nicholas Clark (Actor in the role of Frank) accompanied by the maestro Geordie Campbell (Pianist & Coach).
