What a treat to perform in such a delightful venue indeed! The acoustics was amazing and a pleasure to sing in. the stage was lovely and the people in Paddington are so lovely and welcome. As Paddington is almost an international stop for most of the tourists, it is nice to see how many of them came down to London and how much they want to be amazed by every corner of it. A couple of them came to my concert and
at the end rightfully left inspired and expressed appreciation for my singing. It is very sad however that the present generation loses interest in opera. As I went down to the venue, I spoke to an elderly local man who apparently was very much looking forward to my concert and expressed how grateful he was for seeing a young person as myself preoccupying myself with a crucial career such as opera singing in days where a song would barely contain an exchange of three chords in total :).
My concert was a dessert for the inhabitants of the Hotels and local people on the adjacent streets such as: Addison Avenue, St Anns Villas, St Anns Road, St James's Gardens and so on.
Such a beautiful day indeed. The local people gave me all sorts of suggestions in order to promote my singing events and some other people showered me with compliments. One of them was the fact that I resembled Ann Sutherland's voice. I am very grateful for the audience's kindness and commitment to stay for a full hour's concert. So much looking forward to singing here again!
I am looking no further to continue my singing journey at my next stop: The Fringe Festival. Please do come and support me as I embark on a mission to encourage young people to find more delight in opera singing. Please do make sure you sign up on my website mail list to get notified on exciting projects :)
